Cordón, Sara

Sara Cordón nació en Madrid en 1983. Es autora de la novela Para español, pulse 2 (Caballo de Troya/ Penguin Random House, 2018) y fue la ganadora del premio de relato Cosecha Eñe 2017. Sus relatos han aparecido en antologías como “Los topos mecánicos” (Ígneo, 2018) o “Escritorxs Salvajes: 73 Hispanic Writers in the US” (Hypermedia, 2019), en revistas como Words Without Borders, Los Bárbaros o The Barcelona Review y en el Podcast “A Voz en Cuento”. Ha publicado siete biografías noveladas de personajes históricos dirigidas a lectores jóvenes en ediciones El Rompecabezas.
Actualmente cursa un doctorado en Culturas Latinoamericanas, Ibéricas y Latinas en City University of New York. Ha estudiado también un máster de Escritura Creativa en New York University, un máster en Humanidades en la Universidad Carlos III y un máster en Edición de Libros en la Universidad de Salamanca. Desde 2016 codirige la editorial neoyorquina bilingüe sin ánimo de lucro Chatos Inhumanos. www.chatosinhumanos.com y trabaja como profesora de literatura, escritura creativa y español en diferentes colleges de City University of New York.
