Otto Penzler is the editor of 16 Vintage Crime/Black Lizard anthologies, including The Black Lizard Big Book of Locked-Room Mysteries, The Big Book of Sherlock Holmes Stories, The Big Book of Jack the Ripper, The Big Book of Rogues and Villains, The Big Book of Female Detectives, The Big Book of Reel Murders: Stories that Inspired Great Crime Films, and, most recently, The Big Book of Espionage. He lives in New York City, where he is the proprietor of The Mysterious Bookshop.
