Miguel Duplan was born in Sainte-Marie, Martinique and lives in French Guiana, where he teaches. He is the author of L’Acier, Discours profane, Un long silence de Carnaval, Les chants incomplets, Chronique des monts jolis, and L’indépendance des âmes.
