Alicia Zuckerman is an award-winning audio journalist and Editorial Director at WLRN in Miami, South Florida’s NPR member station, where she edits narrative and investigative audio journalism from Key West to Palm Beach County. Her work has aired on NPR, Here & Now, The World, Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen, This American Life, and the Tablet magazine podcast. Besides The Sally J. Freedman Reality Tour that appears on the Florida Writers Map, she also hosted and produced The Judy Blume Radio Hour on WLRN and was the founding producer of The Florida Roundup, as well as the co-creator of the podcast and WLRN series, Under the Sun. Zuckerman was a USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism fellow and was previously an arts reporter at New York Public Radio and New York magazine. This summer she was named Editor of the Year by the Society of Professional Journalists Florida chapter. She lives in Miami Beach, where she worries about sea level rise.
