Margaret Cardillo is a screenwriter, professor, and the author of the picture book biographies Just Being Audrey and Just Being Jackie. In her latest picture book, Dogs at Work: Good Dogs. Real Jobs. (Balzer + Bray) with illustrator Zachariah Ohora, she asserts that yes – dogs are wonderful companions – but there’s more to them than that.
