Founded in 1991, the South Florida Writers Association (SFWA) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to literary arts and supporting writers in the community. Our mission is to maintain a forum for fellowship, education and information among writers in South Florida; to encourage excellence and promote interest in literary achievements. SFWA’s programs: Mango Writers Conference, monthly critique groups, monthly writing contests, Authors Showcase events with Books & Books, the Author’s Voice newsletter, co-sponsorship of the Junior Orange Bowl Creative Writing Contest and book reviews. At our booth, our members will sell their books and promote SFWA programs and membership.
