Massimo Parlermo grew up in Chicago and is part of Generation X. He grew up in a first-generation Italian American family. When he began attending grammar school, Italian was the first language he spoke and had the task of learning a new language, English. After completing grade school and high school, he then went on to college. He graduated from Purdue University Global with a degree of bachelor of science in business administration, magna cum laude. His professional career has been spent in business in the field of finance and accounting, with him working in many various business settings over the years. While growing up, his favorite sports were baseball, football, and basketball, but essentially he liked just about every sport. In his free time, these days he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and enjoys golfing and traveling along with sharpening his cooking skills by trying out and cooking new recipes. He enjoys watching classic movies with actors like Humphrey Bogart, James Stewart, Gary Cooper, Marilyn Monroe, and Jane Russell. He enjoys listening to all different genres of music, starting from the 1950s and up to the music going on today. Desire for Love is the first book he has written, and the subject of the book is about love and relationships. This is certainly a subject he felt that most readers could relate to.
