About Willie Avendano: Willie Avendano is an entrepreneur, creative technologist, hacker, educator, and new media artist. He was Hacker-in-Residence at The LAB Miami and has shown his artwork at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, and Locust Projects, and galleries. His interests include virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and genetic algorithms in design, and he graduated from Columbia University with a degree in operations research and computer science.
