Vall de la Ville, Keila

Keila Vall de la Ville (Caracas, Venezuela) – Narradora, poeta y antóloga. Radicada en Estados Unidos desde el 2011. Graduada de Antropología en la Universidad Central de Venezuela, tiene un máster en Ciencias políticas y otro en Escritura creativa en la Universidad de Nueva York; también obtuvo un máster en Estudios hispánicos en la Universidad de Columbia. Su novela Los días animales (2016, Latino Book Award en la categoría Best Novel Drama/Adventure en 2018) ha sido traducida al inglés y aparecerá con el título The Animal Days en el 2021. Autora de los libros de cuentos Ana no duerme (2007, finalista Mejor libro de cuentos en el concurso de Autores inéditos Monte Ávila Editores), Ana no duerme y otros cuentos (2016) y Enero es el mes más largo (en imprenta). Ha publicado también el poemario Viaje legado (2016). Es antóloga de la compilación bilingüe Entre el aliento y el precipicio, Poéticas sobre la belleza / Between the Breath and the Abyss, Poetics on Beauty (en imprenta) y coeditora de 102 Poetas en Jamming (2014). Su trabajo aparece en antologías estadounidenses y europeas de ficción y no ficción, y puede leerse en distintos medios digitales.

Neumann, Ariana

Ariana Neumann was born and grew up in Venezuela. She is a former foreign correspondent and a writer whose work has been published by various outlets, including The European, the Jewish Book Council, and The New York Times. She is also the author of When Time Stopped: A Memoir of my Father’s War and What Remains (Scribner), winner of the 2020 National Jewish Book Award for Autobiography/Memoir, shortlisted for the Wingate Prize, and a finalist for the Dayton Peace Prize.
