The Guitars Over Guns Alumni Band, Unistiq, is filled with talented young adults who were once students in the program. These rockstars began in the program from the earliest age of 11 and ventured on to serve as GOG mentors for the next generation. The Alumni Band features the vocal talents of Von Anthone, who is accompanied by Jean Petit-Homme on keyboard, Caleb Alcime on drums, Gabriel Pierre on bass, and Rody Lafrance on guitar. Some of these young adults now serve on GOG’s admin team, including Caleb, program associate, and Gabriel, who serves on our board of directors. GOG’s mission is to deliver arts-based development to at-risk students as an alternative to the negative and harmful influences that can dominate their environment, creating leaders, such as these young men, for our next generation.
